Dr Mark Sagarin
Emergency Medicine Specialist MD FACEM
Dr Sagarin graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1996 and the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine residency in 2000. After his residency training, and a few years as a consultant in the Boston area, he went to New Mexico for a decade. In 2014 Dr Sagarin left the United States for Aotearoa. Here he has worked in Taranaki Base Hospital for the past decade. He became a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) in 2016. Dr Sagarin organised an emergency medicine conference called Humanity in 2021 - and is working towards organising another for ACEM in 2024. He has a particular interest in wellness for healthcare workers. Outside of medicine you might find him playing guitar or reading or out running or playing tennis.
