Nurse Robby

Robby graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1981 and has accumulated over 35 years of nursing experience across a broad range of settings. Early in her career she was Charge Nurse of a busy surgical ward. She has worked in international humanitarian roles in Sierra Leone, Afghanistan and Tajikistan; has been deployed to Fiji with NZMAT; and has done remote nursing in outback Australia. Here in Aotearoa she has worked in ICU and for over 16 years in emergency nursing. Robby and her husband continue to be involved in humanitarian work in Tajikistan, where they currently spend the majority of their time. When in New Zealand, Robby enjoys spending time with family, out in nature, gardening and walking.
