Nurse Elbert

Elbert is a critical care RN with over a decades experience within intensive care unit (ICU) and emergency department (ED) settings. He started his nursing career in the medical and surgical ward of a teaching hospital in the Philippines in 2008. Having developed an interest in the care of deteriorating patients, he transitioned to emergency nursing. After moving to New Zealand in 2012, Elbert continued his career as an ED nurse and has worked with a diverse range of patients and presentations in resuscitation and triage. In 2018, he decided to further develop his skills in critical care and transitioned to intensive care nursing. Outside of work, Elbert enjoys nature walks, fishing, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
