Dr Elspeth Frascatore

Dr Frascatore initially trained Glasgow and worked in Edinburgh. She left Scotland in 2006 and has pursued her medical career here in Aotearoa ever since. In addition to her work with Emergency Consult, Dr Frascatore currently serves as a Senior Medical Officer at Te Toka Tumai (formerly known as Auckland DHB) in the adult emergency department. She is an advocate and an educator. She previously worked for Healthline Whakarongorau and has served as Auckland City Hospital’s Director of Emergency Medicine Training. Dr Frascatore has a special interest in Manaaki Mana, Māori equity. Her interests outside of medicine run towards the arts; she is a musician and award-winning photographer and portraitist.
