Ms Cate Thorley

As both a Registered Nurse and natural organiser, Cate works across both our nursing and operations teams. Her twenty-year nursing career has spanned both sides of the Tasman and both acute and primary care. The majority of her practice has been spent in Emergency Care (in senior clinical and management roles) here in Aotearoa. Cate has a passion for quality in healthcare; she is a team player driven by the pursuit of excellence in nursing. Cate’s skills have been leveraged to develop Emergency Consult's strong nursing team and refine operational systems. Most recently she has become a sole practitioner in a small business and is wholeheartedly invested in the health and wellbeing of her clients. Born and bred in the King Country, Cate now calls rural Waikato home. She has a genuine love for people, community, and environmental sustainability and spends her spare time in the bush hiking, growing things, or at the beach.
