Mrs Helen Gavin

Helen is an experienced registered nurse with over 20 years' nursing experience - 14 of them in the emergency setting. Although she has worked in rural and urban environs in Australia, she always returns to the Waikato region where she has served as a senior member of the emergency department team and a nurse educator. Helen has completed a post graduate diploma in advanced nursing and remains passionate about emergency nursing. Alongside her work with Emergency Consult, she manages a medical ward in the Waikato, as well as tutoring a new generation of nurses coming through. Helen enjoys her downtime outdoors in the fresh air with her husband and two boys.
