Dr Harriet Jennings

Dr Jennings earned her medical degree from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2010. After completing her foundation training in the UK and traveling abroad (including around New Zealand) she decided to make Aotearoa her new home in 2013. She originally landed in Christchurch - and now works in Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital. Dr Jennings has worked and trained in numerous hospitals throughout the country (as well as Australia and the UK). A strong believer in continuous education she has clocked up a number of qualifications over the past decade and, in recent years, has taken an active role in teaching. In 2021 she completed her specialty to become a Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. With a keen sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors, Dr Jennings’ hobbies include travel, hiking, trail running, paddle boarding, rock climbing and skiing.
